Jacob’s story

Jacob turns eight years old in June 2010. He began his journey through autism at 14 months of age.
Unwilling to give up on their son, Jacob’s parents searched the world for hope and a path towards recovery. They found answers in treatment through enriched nutrition, together with a program that promotes a respectful, gentle, progressive and non-invasive path to recovery.
Within months of introducing the program Jacob began talking, something he had not done before, and improving his social skills.

The family’s story
Rocky and Antonietta Caccavo are not quitters. And their love for their children would see them go to the ends of the earth to find a way to help Jacob after he was diagnosed with autism.
“We are grateful for autism,” says Antonietta. “It has been a blessing. Jacob is making progress. He is on his way to becoming socially successful. We have come to understand and respect that Jacob is simply doing what he knows is best to look after himself. We have become Jacob’s students. This has made us grow as parents. We have become different people ourselves.”
